Head Coach: Annemarie Farrell Coach Annemarie Farrell joined the Cornell Women's Rugby Club in Fall 2006 after serving as head coach at Denison University for three years. Farrell has been involved in rugby for more than nine years, playing the bulk of her career at Mount Holyoke College. Following a career ending back injury, Annemarie entered the coaching ranks becoming the head coach for Mount Holyoke. After moving to Ohio she joined the coaching staff at The Ohio State University working as the forwards coach. Coach Farrell is a sports management professor at Ithaca College and holds a PhD in Sport Management from The Ohio State University. She currently serves as on the executive board of the New York State Rugby Conference and is a member of the USA Rugby Elite Coach Development Program. [afarrell@ithaca.edu]


Backs Coach: Adrienne Wilson
Adrienne Wilson joins the Cornell coaching staff after 5 exceptional years playing for the Big Red. A standout at flanker, 8, and center, she spent the majority of her final season as the Cornell fullback. Selected for USA U-19 tryouts after her freshman season, Wilson was a member of the NRU U23 team. While in New Zealand, Adrienne was a member of the Old Boys University Club and selected to tryout for the Wellington all-star team.


B-side coach: Amanda Waack
Coach Amanda Waack is a Cornell Alum and joined the Cornell Women's Rugby team last year. Wack underwent a 5-yr, Dual Degree program at Cornell,graduating in '01 with a BA in Computer Science and a BS in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, she began working for Bioacoustics Research Program in Cornell's Lab of Ornithology. She still works there now. In the rugby world, Wack didn't discover the team until the spring of 2000 and so she only played with CWRFC for 3 semesters. Wack has played on the Empire State Games Central 7's team every summer since 2000, and play 15's whenever possible.


Assistant Coach: Emily Izestein
Coach Emily Izestein returns to her alma mater where she played scrumhalf for the Big Red. Predominantly working with scrumhalves and developing players, Coach Izestein has been an invaluable addition to the coaching staff. She graduated Cornell with degrees in English Literature and Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies and currently works as a pre-school teacher in the area.
